“To make a good film,” Alfred Hitchcock once said, “you need three things: the script, the script, and the script.” Join us for this culminating Festival event, hosted by the Board of Directors, as we honor the writers and storytellers who have resonated with audiences this year and in years past.
The Screenwriter’s Roundtable gives audiences an in-depth and revealing glimpse into the work of major screenwriters, actors, and other film artists.

Tony Cox Screenplay Competition Award Ceremony
We will announce the winners of the Tony Cox Screenplay Competitions, which recognize emerging writers and their new screenplays. These competitions give writers the opportunity to have their scripts read by a prestigious jury, receive top industry recognition, and the ability to participate in a Festival focused specifically on screenwriting.
Named in honor of the Showtime executive and long-time Nantucket resident Tony Cox, these screenplay awards are given in four categories:
Feature Film, Short Film, 60 min Episodic, 30 min Episodic.
