NFF AT THE DRIVE-IN
NFF is proud to present screenings this year at the Dreamland Drive-In, located at 7 Nobadeer Farm Road, Nantucket MA.
Please find answers below to questions you may have about attending our Drive-In screenings.
What films are being shown at the Drive-In?
Our Drive-In schedule is now available here.
How can I attend?
You can attend our Drive-In by purchasing a Founder, Legacy, Patron, or Supporter passes, which are for sale here. Individual tickets can be purchased through the individual film or event page.
Opening Night (June 17) and Closing Night (June 27) tickets will be $65 per car, while all other screenings will be $45 per car. (Ticket permits 1 vehicle entry, with up to 4 individuals in a vehicle.)
Can I purchase tickets at the venue?
Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the Drive-In gate. Tickets must be purchased in advance here.
Do you need a car to attend?
Yes. Patrons are not allowed to walk-in to the venue, you must be in a vehicle. Lawn seating is not permitted at the Drive-In.
Are refunds available?
There are no refunds or exchanges for Drive-In screenings. If we must cancel a movie due to unforeseen circumstances, you may email boxoffice@nantucketfilmfestival.org within 48 hours after cancellation to receive your refund. Films will screen rain or shine.
If a film is SOLD OUT, will there be a Rush Line?
Yes, if there are no more tickets available, a Rush Line will open at 8:00 pm. Our staff will direct you to the waiting area. Admission is not guaranteed. If there are spaces available, you will be informed that you will be able to purchase a ticket. Rush Tickets are payable by credit card only - no cash is accepted. A Rush Ticket will have an additional $10 Rush Service Fee per vehicle.
Will screenings be canceled if it rains?
The show must go on! All screenings will take place rain or shine. Attendees will be notified in advance in the unlikely event of cancellation due to severe weather conditions.
What time may I arrive at the Drive-In?
The parking lot opens at 8:00 pm and the gates close at 8:30 pm. No vehicles will be allowed in the lot before 8:00 pm or after gates close. The film will begin at approximately 8:30 pm. Please make sure to bring your E-TICKET WITH THE QR CODE to present to our staff upon arrival, it may either be printed or shown on your phone.
Are there restrooms available at the venue?
Yes, restrooms are available at the venue. Restrooms will be monitored by an attendant and cleaned regularly after use. Please maintain a 6-foot physical distance from other patrons.
Are there concessions available at the Drive-In?
The Dreamland staff will be selling limited concessions. You are free to bring your own snacks, take-out from your favorite local spot, and non-alcoholic beverages. No alcohol is permitted on the property.
Do you need to wear a mask while at the Drive-In?
No. Masks are no longer required.
Can I tailgate next to my car?
Yes. You may tailgate next to your car as long as you do not block the view for other patrons.
How can I listen to the film?
Sound will be broadcast to your car radio. Please tune to station 97.9 FM. Please consult your vehicle owner manual before coming to the Drive-In for information on how to use your radio while your car ignition is off.
What happens after the film is over?
We ask that you please carry out what you carry in. Staff members will provide you with a clear trash bag upon request. Please follow the directions of the staff when exiting the Drive-In.
A few more things you should know before attending:
The speed limit in the lot is 5mph.
Dreamland staff members will guide you to a parking spot. Once parked, you are not allowed to move your vehicle.
Please turn off your vehicle after parking. Roof hatches must be restrained low, so they do not block others' views.
Pets are not allowed at the Drive-In.
No smoking of any kind is allowed on property. No illegal drugs are allowed.
No open flames (grills, sparklers, fireworks, portable heaters).
This is a family-friendly activity. Please refrain from using foul language.
Please use caution while walking on the grounds in the dark. Surfaces may be uneven.
Shirts and shoes are required when visiting the restroom or food vendors.
Staff will be available for the duration of the film.
PLEASE HELP US BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR. PLEASE DO NOT HONK YOUR HORN OR UNNECESSARILY TURN ON YOUR CAR LIGHTS.

How can I attend?
You can attend our Garden Series by purchasing a Founder, Legacy, Patron, or Supporter pass, all passes are for sale here. Individual tickets can be purchased through the individual film or event page. All tickets include wine, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres at each event.
Individual tickets for Garden Conversations are $100. Individual tickets for Garden Screenings are $65.
Can I purchase tickets in person?
There will be no tickets sold on-site. All ticket purchases must be made online in advance here.
Will the Garden Events be canceled if it rains?
The show must go on! Outdoor screenings and events will take place rain or shine. Attendees will be notified in advance in the unlikely event of cancellation due to severe weather conditions.
Are chairs provided or do we bring our own?
You will not need to bring anything to the event, we will provide chairs at all Garden Events.
Can I reserve a specific seat in advance?
We do not offer venue seating selections/reservations. All seating is first-come, first-served.
How early may I arrive at each home?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to the event’s start time to allow for time to park. Doors will open at the list time on your ticket. Doors will open at the discretion of the Festival staff.
Is parking available at each home?
Parking will be available at each home. Parking instructions will vary and will be noted in your ticket confirmation.
If I misplaced my email confirmation and ticket, can you look me up on-site?
Venue staff will have the ability to look up orders on-site. However, to prevent delays in entry we highly recommend contacting boxoffice@nantucketfilmfestival.com in advance if you misplaced your confirmation email. They will be able to resend your confirmation and ticket.
Are Garden Series tickets transferable?
Yes, Garden Series tickets are transferable.
Will there be food and beverages provided at the events?
Each event will feature a uniquely curated menu of hors d'oeuvres, signature cocktails, wine, and soft drinks. Lunch will be served at lunchtime events.
Will there be restrooms available for use at each home?
Yes, there will be restrooms at all homes.
ON ISLAND EVENT HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
NFF is following all required COVID-19 health and safety protocols in compliance with the Massachusetts State Department of Health guidelines.
To facilitate contactless entry, all tickets and passes are digital. Venue capacity limits will be enforced.
Non-vaccinated guests are encouraged to wear a face covering, except when actively eating or drinking.
By attending Festival events, guests are confirming they currently do not have COVID-19 or have not been in close contact (as defined by the CDC) with someone who has COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
Guests are expected to comply with all laws, rules, and regulations, as well as any NFF and/or venue safety guidelines (not limited to the above), and to act responsibly.
