Up the Ladder, Down the Ladder with Mark Duplass
Moderated by Eric Kohn
As they say in Hollywood, it took brothers Mark and Jay Duplass a decade working in the film industry to become an overnight success. Then in 2005, the Duplass brothers made a movie for $15,000 -- Sundance screened it, NFF screened it and The Puffy Chair launched their careers. Mark is currently starring in Apple TV’s “The Morning Show” and has his new film, Language Lessons, screening at this year’s Festival. In our conversation with Mark, he talks about climbing the ladder as a writer, director, and actor from indie films to Hollywood and back to indie films.
