Katie Silberman and Olivia Wilde are the writing and directing team behind the acclaimed film Booksmart and the highly anticipated Don’t Worry Darling. They are leading a new wave of women creating insightful and inclusive films. Their collaborative and individual artistic journeys stand as a model for the future of the field. Katie is also the writer of Set It Up and Isn’t It Romantic. In addition to her work as a director, Olivia, is an actor whose film How It Ends is a part of this year’s Festival. Katie grew up spending summers on Nantucket and has waited in plenty of NFF lines. Bringing their own fresh viewpoints to filmmaking, Katie and Olivia will join Variety correspondent, Jazz Tangcay, to share some of their creative spark.
